Connor DeVane is a writer and activist based in Portland, Oregon. In May 2014 he graduated with a writing degree from Loyola Marymount University - five days later, he began his successful thru-hike of the 2668 mile Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon and Washington. He is a volunteer and organizer for various climate focused campaigns in the Pacific Northwest and was proudly detained by authorities for "kayaktivism" during the Shell No! Blockade of Shell's icebreaker ship, the Fennica, at the St. John's Bridge in July 2015.
